DBase is the oldest database management system for DOS, Apple Macintosh and Unix. It's file extension which is (.DBF) is widely supported by almost all database management clients such as Microsoft Access, Open Office Base and many others. By converting your Microsoft Excel spreadsheets to the legacy (.BDF), you can assure the wide adaptability of your database to most of database programs. In order to do that you need "XLS to DBF Converter 1.2", which has an easy wizard to help you migrate your (.XLS) files directly to the legacy (.DBF) file extension. After choosing your input Excel document, it will analyze it and show to you the sheets it has found, and you will be able to choose which sheets you would like to convert and which you don't want converted. If your document is password protected, the program will enable you to enter the document password needed to access that file. The program not only supports dBase II and IV but it also supports FoxPro, Visual FoxPro and dBase level 7. The demo version of this program supports exporting the first 50 records of your spreadsheet only.
